There is nothing wrong with missing your kids while you are out enjoying some "me time". When I don't have my kids, I am constantly texting or calling their sitter to find out how they are ans what they are doing.

I don't think you are alone. Somehow we feel guilty doing things for ourselves. It's weird because you can think to yourself "O man I need a break", but when you get a break you want to be home. I do however think it's important to have some pampering time for ourselves as mothers. Things can get stressful and over the top per se, and taking time for ourselves helps us kind of refresh and remember what we love about parenting. lol.

Time Alone... I don't really remember what that is. I'm either at work or have my son with me. Sometimes I'd like to be able to go clothes shopping or see a movie or go have a drink with friends like other adults do. But I love having my kiddo and know the situation will change too soon when his father gets out of supervised visitation.
To be honest I think I would take naps if I had free time! lol

Its healthy to miss your child while your gone. Personally I get nervous thinking about going out and not having my son with me. However, you can always call home and see what they are up to. It gives me piece of mind and I can hear my sons voice while I am gone.
