I am having issues with my 10 year old daughters behavior. She doesn't want to listen when I ask her to do things, she is throwing fits and refusing to go to school, because she swears she has nothing to wear. She back talks and yells and tells me No and that she doesn't have to or doesn't want to do something when I ask her to do it. I am at the end of my nerves with her, and don't know what to do for punishment anymore. I have tried rewarding good behavior, I have tried grounding. I believe that the recent separation from my husband and moving has some part in her behavior, but this issue was a problem way before the separation too. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

That's a tough one, It sounds like you both have been through alot lately. I would say be consistant. Let your daughter know that whatever she is feeling, it is okay, but her actions may not be acceptable. Encourage her to talk about how she is feeling (with you or someone close). Make sure that you have some support as well. Good luck.
