Hello! I was just curious what everyone does with their families for fun? Especially during the cold winter months...I hate taking my boys outdoors. If anyone has any fun inexpensive ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Bake, arts and craft, make family members birthday cards make a memory book of all the fun things u do in the summer add pics to look back on when there older play games pissed etc. Make popcorn hot chocs wuth cream. And sprinkles and cuddle up and watch a film or build a den for them to hide in x

We just moved to Brookings from Baltimore and this winter was really a challenge for us to stay indoor. I have just started taking my girls to the library, they have a little play area there. Try looking for MOPS in your area.

where are you from? if you're in or near sioux falls, there's the washington pavilion kids area (free of charge), backyard adventures indoor play sets ($5/kid over 2), and the sioux falls parks and rec holds playgroups every day at their community centers 10:00-11:30 (check out www.siouxfallsparksandrec.com).

There is a play area in the mall that I take my toddler to. Other than that, I'm also looking for ideas. I just moved here from Texas, so these cold winters & staying indoors is a big change for us.
