Hello, I am a stay at home mom in Mississauga. Just wondering if there is any moms in the area and if youse have any suggestions for mom and me groups in the area. I would love to participate in mom & me yoga or swimming. I dont know any moms in my area with children so am looking for a place for my daughter to meet friends.

Hello Jeanette, The YMCA near the Central Library I believe has a mom and me class as does the South Common Community Center and the Huron Park Community Center. What area of Mississauga do you live in?

Hi Jeanette,

I don't have much of an answer for you, other than to check your local community centres for Mom and tot activities. I live in Mississauga and received my Active Mississauga Parks and Rec. Summer Guide in Feb. If you didn't get yours, you can go to your nearest CC.

Parent and baby yoga is offered at: Cawthra Estate, Erin Meadows, Churchill Meadows, Cawthra CC, and Hershey Sports Complex.

I am in Port Credit, its a great area for playgroups, library times and parks!! We attend a drop-in at my kids school (9am-1:45pm) but there are many options for you. Look for Ontario Learning Years centres or other centres that may be at schools/libraries in your area.

Hi, I am in port credit, south Mississauga. I coordinate a moms group in town. if interested, let me know. my friend has a news letter so go on her web site, mom's of mississauga. she has activities and groups listed.
