Hi all i am new to Ontario I am from utah so this was a huge huge move for me.... I am just looking for friends and maybe someone to talk to durring the day it so lonely here for me...

Hi and welcome to the area! I am in London and have a 1 yo DD. Thereis an OEYC in Listowel www.gov.on.ca/children/oeyc/en/location/... and they are wonderful! I went to weekly groups when I was on mat leave. I didn't know anyone there but made lots of contacts and even a few friends! I am sure there are other moms there that feel the way you do. :)

Hi, welcome to Ontario. I am a stay at home mom of 2 girls ages 4 years, and 23 months of age. We live in a little town called Brighton(2 hours east of Toronto), nice little area. If you can get out, see if there is a local Early Years Centre, you can take your child there, meet other moms and talk, they also have a nurse there if you have any questions. Anyway just wanted to say hi and welcome to Ontario, take care.

I am near listowel, yeah it is not that it is that different from utah it is the not knowing anyone and feeling lonely that is hard for me and I feel like every time i try to make friends i say or do something dumb so I am scared to get out there so to say, but it is deffinently different..

Hello, I know that feeling...I feel like I am from another planet,and I only moved from Montreal! It's a really hard transition. Where are you located in Ontario?

i am living near listowel not too far from kitchner, my daughter will be 1 in feburary her name is Lyric Oliva, it is great to have someone sympathise with me it is hard to be so far from my family.
