i broke up with my little one's father in september last year. ever since then we have never spent a non-acrimonious minute together -- at best it's been silent. today was our daughter's school sports day ... we actually managed to be reasonably polite and normal with each other and even share a laugh ... and his mother who had been a total B*I*T*C*H* since the break up was also pretty decent ... this is a HUGE relief. he also finally signed an agreement about how child care will be shared -- until now we have had lots of fights about it. it is an interim agreement that we are going to try out and see how it works for three months, and then we'll have it drawn up as a proper legal contract if we can see it is working.
this is a HUGE weight off my mind, because until this last month he has totally refused to provide any sort of STABLE arrangement.
