My oldest, and only daughter, is involved in EVERYTHING SPORTS. Her absolute passion, though, is softball. She pretty much plays year-round, but since we live in a smaller town, outside of a major city, she is able to play other school sports in addition to softball. She also plays basketball, runs track, is on the state powerlifting team, and is a cheerleader. We're always running. I love watching her play, but I sometimes wonder...is this too much for her??? She is a sophomore this year, and we told her if her grades suffered, some things would have to go...but she got all As and B+s first quarter!! :)
Our middle son plays baseball, football, and basketball. He loves all three, and his seasons don't overlap yet, but they do overlap with his sister's sports - especially during the summer. My husband and I do our best to both attend all that we can, but sometimes we need to split up to make sure one of us is at each game. Our 4 year old has become a very educated sports fan!! :)
