Hi everyone just wondering how many other parents who have had a baby that has enjoyed all foods offered if they went through the fussy eater stage at all as their child got older.

My son has never been a fussy eater. He is 19 months old and so far, there isn't anything he won't eat, except peas. And that is a pretty recent development. He used to like the pureed pees when he was tiny and he used to eat steamed peas up until about a few months ago but now he won't touch them. I can't complain about him not liking peas because, well....he eats everything else I offer him and not only that, he LIKES everything, always has. I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out though....I just KNOW I can't be that lucky and one of these days he'll enter another "stage" and go on all kinds of food strikes. LOL!

I know, eh? My two are SO opposites, at least on the food front. I'm pretty sure big brother's issue is all in his head, but it seems to be pretty deep rooted, so I'm going to let him work it out on his own. Its nuts, the guy won't even eat apple pie!

my son gags and throws up too when we try and get him to try new foods.. im so relieved to see that i am not alone!
my daughter is 3 and will eat anything you put in front of her .. so weird that two siblings can be total opposites...

my daughter is almost 16 months and loves just about everything. I haven't run into much that she doesn't like. It makes things easier when it comes to meal times. I just hope that she doesn't go into a picky eater stage and if she does, it ends quickly.

My first boy hated veggies and fruit, and still does. He is a meat and carb lover, through and through. He is nearly 7 now, and we can get him to try new things, but I have to make sure he gets a vitamin every day, and drinks alot of friut juice, to get the C. But he will actually gag and throw up most vegetables. Just recently he began to eat cheddar cheese, but hates yogurt and cottage cheese, too.

My second, who is 3, likes everything except rice. I don't know why. Him and I eat salad for lunch like 3x a week. But my older boy would live forever on corn dogs and Kraft Dinner if I let him.

I am not happy with my older boy not eating fruits and vegetables, but like I said, he will gag and throw up right at the dinner table. And THAT is not a battle I am willing to fight every day for who knows how long. He gets a vitamin, plenty of fruit juice, he LOVES milk, and I can go along with that. I am sure he will grow out of it, my brother did, and he is doing fine as we are. I have always loved fruits and vegetables, and it baffles me how he doesn't even like sweet potatoes (!), but he will always try, and that's good enough for me.

My son loves food and will eat anything. Even if he doesn't like it, he will still taste it and take a few bites. He is 2 1/2 and I hope the good habits continue!
