my baby is 15 month old and has a runny nose and congestion. I use a humidifer and it helps a little. any suggestions? I need some. thanks a lot.

If they are really bad especially before bed, i was advised to steam up the bathroom to the point of the steam is dripping off the walls, then be in there with the bub for 10 - 15 mins or as long as you can. Helps my kids heaps when they are blocked up & have a chesty cough. Also Vicks on soles of feet, chest & back as often as you can.

The doctor has prescribed pediatex TD for my 15 month old. helps so much with congestion and cough... good luck

Vics on the bottom of the feet actually works well. As silly as it sounds, it works.

try saline drops for his nose, it helps dry up the mucus so he can breath better.and maybe some vics rub for his chest and back.

There isn't much you can do. I try to put a pillow behind my kids when they are sick to try to keep their head upright. I also give them extra vitamin C. Clementines and red peppers. Also I have them drink extra water. Be careful of too much juice since it can cause diaper rash. Also, I buy popsicles because it boosts their liquid in take as well.
