Although both teeth are out of the gums, could there still be teething pain?

My little guy is 6 months tomorrow. He seemed to be doing really well after both teeth have cut through his gum and then today he is showing signs again that he could be in pain. He is chomping down on my fingers/toys etc again and he is really irritable. Doesn't seem like his usual self.

Im just wondering if he could still have pain from them. I though once they were through the gum the 'teething' is over??

I was wondering lol. It just ranges so much for each baby that it's so hard to tell. When I knew he was actually 'teething' and I knew he was going to get his first tooth in a week and sure enough he did and right after, 2 days after, his second one came. I did look at his top gums today but don't see anything different. I just don't want to give him tylenol, camilia drops etc if it isn't that. So fun not fully knowing when. Thanks for your post!

Ahh yes, but you're forgetting the next ones :o)  More than likely his next tooth or teeth are working there way up.  Unfortunately it will be a long time he gets a real break.  My son got his first two in then his top two were out the following month.

Good luck and hang in there!
