i have to do it all through out the day..i don't mind it though...i think its cute and its time with my son...he will get me to kiss and hug them then he will turn around and do it..its so cute

My daughter is only 7 months old so we haven't reached that stage yet. However she is big on sharing, so her dummy does the rounds between her, myself & her daddy. Rather a rude shock first time I woke up and she was shoving the dummy in my mouth. She also shares her dummy with all of her toys.... lines up their mouth and ramms the dummy in ! Poor Winnie copes it a lot.

oh, the stories we could all tell of what we do to make our babies happy!!! you're a great mom! our stuffed animals take turns reading bed time books at night.

Ever so often I have to kiss "duckie" night, night right after him. This is the same duckie that was in his crib the day he was brought home from the hospital. He LOVES this duck!

yes we have to kiss toys also but luckily not that much..the things we do for our children to make them happy. I am sure its just a phaze hes goin through.

LOL no. I have to kiss everything as well. She puts her toys in my face and says "mommy kiss" so I kiss, she giggles and goes back to playing. I also have to sing stupid songs in the grocery store to keep her entertained and I am definately no singer ;)

lol.....my daughter doesn't make me kiss toys but I get to do plenty of goofy stuff to make her happy....for example...she loves the wizard of oz so quite often we have to hold hands and skip around the room singing "we're off to see the wizard"..... I don't mind it in the least bit tho...too soon she won't want to play with me cuz it won't be cool so I'm soakin it all in while it lasts. :)

My son is 2 and I have to kiss all his cars before he tucks them up for bed in the toy garage! They even each have names (his favourite is blue blue, can you guess what colour it is?!) and I'm in big trouble if I call them the wrong one!

This is the stuff we should write down so when they are sulky, stinky teenagers we can remember how cute they were once!

I DONT KISS ANY TOYS!!! However my daughter is 9 months old. Lol... I am sure it won't be long before I'm kissing her toys too!! Honestly I think it could be pretty damn cute but I can see it getting old after a while. Lol

I also have to do things like that for my 4 lil ones. Except they give me the order in which they need to be kissed. Usually, my middle daughter needs her hugs and kisses first along with Spongebob (her fav), then its my oldest with her hugs and kisses and whatever stuffed animal she has at the time, but with my youngest its hugs, kisses, eskimo kisses, and then I have to give her blankie hugs and kisses too. My son will bring me just about anything that needs some love. I think even though it may seem silly, just know that if kissing a toy will bring a smile to your kids face its well worth it. And cherish these moments because they will not last forever. Wait til they are older and they dont want to even be around you!! Trust me, I know all these phases. My kids are 12, 10, 5, 4, and almost 3 twins. I know I have a long way ahead of me and have been through a lot with them. All you can do is love and cherish this time in your life!!!!!! Nothing compares to MOMMY, you are their ANGEL!!!!

I haven't had the "kiss this toy, Mommy" experience yet (my daughter is only 8 months old) but I am sure that time will come. Don't feel silly...just think about how happy it makes your little one to know that his or her special friend(s) get some love too! :)

While I do not go that far, I do have to hunt up stuff that must go to bed with my two boys. My husband is the one that HAS to sing three specific songs and in the correct order. So, no I think most parent's really get into these things for their kids.

lol! You are not alone! My son also makes me kiss them when he drops them or they "get hurt."
I think I kiss action figures more often than I kiss my husband!

No Ma'am you are not. I have to do all that and at times I have to act like I'm feeding, changing diapers, and rocking their babies to sleep along with them. What we do for our kiddos to make them happy. :)
