hey i was just wondering what you had to do to start home schooling and it you need any college credits and what else you need to do just to get eveerything going and everything you need. I want this for my mom for she wants to start home schooling my younger sister..thanks

Most states high school diploma is plenty. But you will have to check your states laws.

not that I know of as far as education. not in my state atleast. Check out CBD.com its got some GREAT cheaper things for starting out in preschool. there is also a homeschool group on here if you search homeschooling. I'm starting preschool with my soon to be 3 yr old in the fall. Good luck!

Yes, I homeschool. In most states/provinces you do not have to have to have any particular education, usually you have register with the school board though. As the other poster said you can find what the laws are in your area. What I have found most helpful is to find (perhaps try googling) homeschool support groups in your local area. They will have a lot of good information. If you have any questions not related to your specific area I would be glad to help you. You can just send me a message.
