Baby not eating as much as usual

I had a simular issue with my daughter and what I later realized was that when I got a breast infection and couldn't breast feed and had to pump that I was only getting 1 oz of milk out which meant that she was really only getting one ounce at a feeding and angry cause she was hungry and was crying from hunger try using a bottle with formula or water to see if its something wrong with her sucking or breathing or if she is just not getting enough. Also even if you eat or drink certain things it comes out in your milk and might be effecting the taste. These are some things to consider.

There is your answer!  Those teeth can really make it painful to eat.  I know that some babies really will stop eating while a tooth is coming through.  Really, try the teething tablets.  My sister suggested them to me and now I suggest them to everyone.  They really work when nothing else does.  They even helped my five year old nephew.  I'm so happy that you found a reason for your baby not eating as much as usual.  It did sound like something simple and not a bigger issue, and I'm happy that was the case.  Some babies really teeth early.  Mine was late because she's a preemie.  If you do like a google search or something similar I think you'll find it is really common for babies to act like that when teething.  Congratulations on the first tooth!  You could also try giving her a frozen washcloth before nursing (to help her gums feel better) and see if that makes nursing easier on her.   If she is still nursing for shorter amounts of time I would just nurse her more often (to keep her tummy happy and your supply for decreasing).

Call your Doctor and ask what they think about your baby not eating as much as usual. Babies that young need alot of nutrition and can get easily dehydrated. And dehydration can cause alot of trouble. I'm a mom of a 19month old girl who had feeding difficulties so I know from experience not to mess around when babies don't eat. :)

At 10 weeks she is probably getting pretty good at nursing and may not take as long to fill her little tummy.  She could be going through a small nursing strike.  Is she congested at all?  Also, as someone else said it could be early teething.  My daughter would have teething issues for months before a new tooth would finally pop out.  Is she still having lots of wet/dirty diapers?  She could also be going through a growth spurt, too.  Some babies react differently to growth spurts and instead of lots of sleeping/nursing she just may not want to nurse at all.  I wouldn't worry too much yet.  If in a couple of days she has decreased the amount she's nursing even more or the diapers are no longer wet I'd take her in to the doctor.  Most likely she will just start eating more in a couple of days.  Have you tried giving her gas drops?  Is she burping enough?  Oh, Hyland's makes Colic tablets that really work well and teething tablets.  I would buy a bottle of both (can find at Walmart, grocery store, etc).  The colic tablets really work well when the baby has an upset tummy and teething tablets are AMAZING.

If you exercise, sometimes the lacic acid can come through your milk and cause your baby to not eat as much as usual. They don't like the taste, and can give them an upset tummy. This happened when I started exercising 6 weeks after my 2 yo was born. My Dr. said I was just exercising too hard.

all babies are different but mine went through something similar. It only lasted a couple days and he was back to his normal feeding routine. I think he just had a tummy ache that was aggravated by a full stomach so he didn't want to eat as much. Maybe she has some constipation or gas? Or could be an early teether...   Just remember that they WILL eat when they are hungry and as long as she still has plenty of wet diapers i'm sure she will be just fine. :)  I was told the only need for concern would be if they were other symptoms such as a fever, diarrhea or as i mentioned, no wet diapers.

Did you ask the Doctor about your baby not eating as much as usual?  Sounds colicky, which my son was for mooooonnnnttthhhhss..  I would definitely call the Dr.
