I'd like to work part-time or from home if possible. I'm looking for work I can do from home that is ligit and doesn't require me to sell anything something along the lines of data entry maybe. Thanks in advance for your help

Childcare. Bring in a child a bit older or after school or even one the same age as your child to care for. It's a great way for a few extra bucks. If you don't have good patience this might not be for you, but it can be a great play friend for your child to grow with and learn some great skills.

I've made a few dollars there... without having to PAY them to LET me work.
40 cents per 1000 keystrokes. I'll never get rich this way, but it does bring in maybe $50 every two weeks.
(and no... they didn't pay me to say this here)
