My daughter keeps taking her diapers off and will sometimes use the bathroom in the floor. We are in the midst of potty training, but you just can't stop her. She knows how to take all of her clothes off. She takes of shorts, we even tried keeping onesies on her and she pops the buttons right open and keeps on taking her diaper off. right now we just don't know what to do. helpppp!

If she does not want the diaper, just put her in panties. I would also make sure she has a potty to use. I would not want to watse money on diapers if she's pulling them off anyway. Try a pull up at nite and see how it goes.

I would let her run around without a diaper IF you are comfortable. I did with several of my kids and once I did it took just a bit to be done.You learn to look for signs of when they will be going, and just make sure you always ask then. And have a good success reward.We always use M&M's or Skittles.

My daughter would take her diaper off at night, it was a big mess in the morning. I took a sleeper with the feet, cut the feet off and cut a v shape in the back of the neck part and put it on her backwards so the zipper was on her back. Never a problem again. For the morning she usually ran around in just a diaper and I usually had to just keep putting it back on her. Good luck!

When I suggested duct tape, I meant on the diaper, not on your child. Sorry for any confusion.

LOL I've seen plenty of mom's I know use the duct tape when needed. (weddings what not when it's not ok for child to go streaking!) as long as you make sure the tape is on the diaper not the skin it does the trick.

wow...you guys really helped a lot...i will put all of them in mind...except maybe the duct tape...lol. ALTHOUGH, i will admit that i have surely thought about it before. but i was worried wat would happen if it accidently ended up on her skin...so i didn't. but i want to thank all of you. my husband got sooo frustrated with her yesterday bc we put her in her room for a nap and she took her diaper off and pooped in the floor....:(

Please don't duct tape the diapers to your daughter! No offense intended Carisa but, if she is running around naked and constantly taking off her clothes, this is DEFINITELY a sign that she is ready for potty training. I think patience and consistency are the best things you can do for your daughter right now Amber. She'll get there, in her own time. I agree about letting her run around naked. And if she pees on the floor? Well, look at it this way...eventually you'll have a potty trained little girl and a very clean floor lol Good luck :)

If you really want to keep the diaper on, use duct tape. She won't be able to get it of (I've never tried this, so I don't know how hard it will be for YOU to get the diaper off)

You might just have to let her run around with nothing on. Some children are like that and that is one sign they are ready to be potty trained. There will be accidents, but that is all part of it.
