Do u have or plan to have a Household Notebook? If so, what are some things you have listed?

I should have made one long time ago but, didnt have two kids then ither lol! Now after having two kids and my hubby being like a 3rd child, I need orgainization and stop being a procrastinator!!!! Any tips & suggestions on making a household notebook? Thanksa bunch!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it simple and you're more likely to use it. I have several different notebooks and it helps to keep some of the disorganization down - like someone above said - when we get lazy, we just stuff papers in it, but at least with different binders, they're in the right area.
I have one for SCHOOL - school calendar, class schedule (esp. for middle schoolers), bus schedule (we have 3!) with important numbers for Transportation depot, report cards, and copies of school forms
HOUSEHOLD MISC - favorite carryout & delivery menus, service provider info (electrician, plumber, etc.), community emergency numbers, family important info - medical, insurance, phone numbers
CHRISTMAS - card & gift list, favorite recipes, all the holiday stuff

Wendy, I understand exactly what you are saying. I've been working on my notebook for the past year and would be finish already but I have 2 year-old son, who gets into everything and a 6 months old, who always needs my full attention. Then my fiance, who I believe is my 3rd child. I need some examples of what to put in my notebook.

I decided to make one because i felt i needed to be more organized so i read all about them, looked at many examples and finally spent a few weeks perfecting mine..Literally i was staying up till 2am working on it lol..It worked out great for a few months but then a gradually began forgetting to update it and would just chuck papers in it and not file them properly, so now it is back to looking like my previous organization system...A pile of important papers all mixed up and shoved in a binder with no rhyme or reason. I would like to go back and reorganize it though because it really was useful. I had it divided into different sections like "Finance", "Home Management", "Contact info", "Healthcare", "School", etc. It made finding what i was looking for a breeze. Maybe I will haul it out later and try to fix it up again. I absolutely LOVE the idea of being super organized, and i will go on these big organization trips, but it usually never lasts very long. lol...A very good
