There's something called Vicks Baby Rub. It's safe for babies 3 mos and older. The feet thing is a myth. Just rub it on their chest and neck. You can rub it on their back too. Use with a vaporizer. It works well.

My husband's grandmother put vicks on a rag near the baby's crib. it's works the same but you don't have to rub it on them. You could put it on a chair out of reach beside the crib.

We can get a baby vicks that i have used on both my kids It works really well and helps them breath through the night. I wouldnt recommend nowmal vicks on children under 2 though. But the one i use is called vicks babybalsam. It has lavendar oil and things like that in it to help them sleep! And it says it is suitable from 3 months.
Hope this helps? :)

It depends on how old...I was told not to use vicks on babies...use a humidifier with just plan water in it. Also if they get a stuffy nose you can use a nasal asperator
