Do any other SAHM's find yourself suffering from Insomnia on some nights? Its not all the time but some nights i just can't sleep at all, I will try to lay in bed and end up looking at the clock counting the minutes away, when i go out on the couch i end up falling asleep without warning and then my husband thinks i am mad at him for something lol.

I am not sure what causes it, but when i was part of the work force i never had a problem with it, not sure if i need more stimulation than what i am getting from being at home or what the problem is. When i was pregnant i would blame it on not being able to get comfortable or too many naps thru the day (even when i didn't take any) my dr can find nothing medically, so i guess i just "tough" it out lol thanks for responding :-)

yes yes yes.....i posted on an other group about this, i am starting to think that i want some peace and quiet....and my subconcious getting me up and giving me time to my self because as soon as the kids or hubby is awake i am back on duty....i have recently been told it can be linked to your menstral cycle as well so see if there is a pattern linking it to that, ...i just get up and read or watch some crappy tv that i secretly love,

Yes! I usually try some sleepy time tea or during allergy season a dose of benadryl.
