My daughter is almost 9 months old.
I've been lazy and haven't changed her feeding schedule at all really since she was 4-5months old.
She can go longer in between feedings now, obviously - but alot of times I just follow the routine I'm used to.
She gets a total of four 6-7oz bottles of formula a day... her breakfast (usually oatmeal or rice cereal with flavor) and bottle, lunch (depends if I'm eating something she can have otherwise just a jar of baby food) and bottle, and dinner (again depends on if I'm eating something she can have, otherwise just a jar of baby food) and bottle, then her last bottle right before bed time...
She takes 3 naps a day if we're home... one morning one, early afternoon, and early evening.
She usually goes down for the night around 9pm and sleeps around 12 hours. Getting up in between 9 and 10am.
Her naps usually last about 2 hours.
She is fine on this feeding routine and it's been working for us.
But I know alot of people who say by 9 months baby's should be getting more food and less bottle (perhaps only 3 a day instead of 4).
I'm just not sure how to arrange that type of routine.
I'm afraid she'll miss that extra bottle or won't get enough food or something.
Any suggestions/tips would be great. Thanks.
