I seem to have trouble finding friends who are mothers too. I am 27 with a 9 months old and people i know have children older or they are too busy to hang out. I am shy and I don't really like approaching people..I am tired of doing everything with my husband but I can't make any friends.
Am I the only one with this problem?

I'm right there with you too! I've looked into the Mommy groups but haven't taken the leap as of yet. None of my friends are stay at home moms (which I am) so they are busy with their families on the weekends, and at work during the day. Seems like any mom's that I have encountered are a step or many steps higher than we are financially and already have their own groups of friends. Probably the mommy groups are a good step in the right direction, just have to be able to take that first step (which is tough - I'm shy too!). Good luck - I'll be thinking of you :)

Mommy groups are great! I was in the same boat, only my husband works a lot, so I really just didn't do anything! But I joined a mom's Bible study, and now I have great friends that I have a ton in common with!

I'm in the same situation. What I am doing is looking for mommy groups in my area. I finally found one on google. Maybe you could try that?!?
