I had a condition after birth called diastasis recti.

You can do a crunch and feel the rip with your fingers.

Exercising your obliques will repair the diastasis recti...which in turn will hold the abdominal muscles IN...and flat.

Look up exercises for your obliques. It's the muscles on the SIDES of your tummy that hold that pooch in the middle tight. Repair your obliques and your abs will fall in place.

If you will watch the Youtube video, the lady who made that video is named 'thetwinpossible' Search up the rest of her videos on Youtube, she shows you how to diagnose the diastasis recti...and then she also has videos showing you how to exercise your obliques and repair the problem. I have to admit... she looks AWESOME!

I've never had a c-section, but I would also love to have a flatter tummy. It is my understanding that it is harder to lose the tummy after c-sections. Are you planning on going to a Gym or are you planning on working out at home? When I would work out at home, I would lay on the floor with 2lbs weights on my ankles and lift them up and have my Hubby throw them down and I would stop them just before they touched the ground and lift them up again. Do your best on doing ab workouts. That should help.

Best Wishes!
