What makes you feel better, doing your hair or doing your make up?

getting dressed as soon as I get up, including at least brushing my hair, and washing my face, makes me feel like I have a bit of a handle on things. I follow Flylady.net who suggests laying clothes out for the next day so I don't have to think if I'm a bit hazy in the morning.
I bought a hair straightener recently which makes me feel better as I have quite poo-fy hair and I feel better when it doesn't look and feel so poo-fy.
I have a tinted moisturiser with sunscreen which I like to put on most mornings, with a little mascara and blush, takes no more than a minute. Certainly not every morning, but when I remember.
If I put on some clothes and look at myself and think "yuck", I chuck it in the good-will bag. Get rid of it.
I also feel great after a walk with the pram around my neighbourhood and back. I rarely feel like it when I start, but I feel much better after.
Also, standing up straight, sucking my abs in a bit, holding my shoulders back and holding my chin up makes me feel better straight away.

Getting dressed! Finally after just having a baby (and a two-yr old running around) I am able to get up early enough to get dressed...so I don't look the same way when my husband gets home lol. Showering regularly which doesn't happen. Also doing my hair. But what really makes me not feel frumpy 24/7 is the WAY I dress... we haven't been able to afford me maternity clothes, so I get hand me downs and a few things from thrift and nothing really looks right on me seriously. Plus mostly stuff I would never wear if I had the choice. But now that I'm done being preg, I am getting back into real clothes, Praise God. I never knew how much my clothes mattered to me until I got pregnant.

I understand that Keli. When I give my girls a bath in the morning, while they play, I do my hair or makeup.

id have to say doing my makeup makes me feel more better than doing my hair i can never get my hair to how i would like it anyway lol but some days even just simple lip gloss and abit of mascara does the trick for a pick me up.I also feel alot better about myself if i go for a walk or do some kind of light excercise and a big one for me is getting an eyebrow wax i instantly feel more youthful and freshned up after

I do pilaties. For some reason when I'm done I just feel so much more attractive. Like I've miracously flattened my tummy and toned my legs lol. It just makes me feel better to know that I've done something to change the way I feel about myself. Tonight I go do Zumba for the first time...I oughta feel great (and sore) tomorrow =)

Hair. Getting it foiled and straightened or even just trimmed and straightened or blow dried at the hairdresser makes you feel so good. Even straightening it myself makes me feel good. I can't find a hair elastic today and I feel so crap.

Shower and getting dressed each morning. I didn't do my hair or make up before I was married and had my daughter.
