My son lately has been obsessed with our garbage can. We tried the childproofing stuff but he just knocks the can over and breaks em. I tried to make it seem horrible by interupting play time with hand washing time but it has gotten so bad I wash his hands about 15 times a day! Obviously that isn't working any tips?

I dont know how big your trash can is we have ours under the sink in the kitchen in the cabinet. We put a easy for us to undo but they cant lock. It keeps them out of the trash.

can you move your garbage can under a cabnet, or can you put it outside? They are little monkeys arent they, when they want something it seems like theres no stopping them.
