Getting my son to sleep all night in his own room

Hello everyone Im having issues with my 3 year old always wanting to sleep with me and his dad every night. The funny part is he will fall asleep in his room but maybe like 3 hrs later he comes and get in our bed, I ve also tried numerous occasions to walk him back to his room but for some odd reason he will not fall back to sleep when I take him back in his room, he will start to play like he has slept all night and stay woke til like 5 am in the morning. But if he stays in our bed he will sleep all night. I dont know what else to do!

My son does the same thing. When he comes into our bed. I take him back and lay with him in his bed. He is usually asleep within half an hour. I then go back to my own bed. It breaks up my sleep but it too difficult to have him in bed with us. Good luck.
