MOST HELPFUL POSTS

I pinched mine from my mother when I was growing up and then I watch loads of cookery programmes and tweek recipes to suit the family. I ususally use cheaper cuts of meat cooked slowly to keep tender. Family favourites in my house are Shepherds pie or cottage pie, homemade lasagne, fish pie,, spicy cajun beef, stuffed marrow, stew and dumplings and traditional roasts. All made from scratch, and normally with the help of my 3.5 year old. I love to cook from scratch because I know what is in it, good lean meat, fresh veg and low salt.
I also search the internet for family meals or just type in the meat I have and see what I can do with it!
