This broke my heart but I had to share.

Yesterday I was in my closet trying to get ready, and my daughter (16 months old) kept going in there whining constantly. I just broke down and said "Peyton stop whining, I can't handle that" really mean and she turned, walked out the closet. I went into the bathroom and saw her in the bedroom just holding onto the railing of our bed, with a poutiest look and she wanted to cry but nothing would come out". I felt so guilty I just hugged her tight..

any stories????

Oh yes! i know exactly what you mean. my daughter Lily gets mad at me when i don't do what she wants me to when she wants me to. I'm in college right now and when i sit down to do my homework she calls herself "helping" me but when really she is distracting me and taking the things i need to do my homework with and messing with my books. i'll tell her to go on, go play, and none of it works until i just sit her down and tell her to go on one last time in a mean voice (because by this time i'm severely frustrated and don't mean to sound that mean.) and she will get up, poke her bottom lip out and point at me like i'm in trouble and it's all my fault. lol. but it happens. they soon forget about it and will be the loving babies that we know they can be.

Yes. I'm a SAHM, but I am also a trained photographer and shoot weddings and stuff on the side, to help out a little with the money. I hadn't shot a wedding in months, and just last week had to be gone all day, and left my 15 month old with a sitter (only for a couple of hours till Daddy got home). When he got up in the morning he was mad a me and wouldn't even come to me. He only wanted Daddy. It was so sad, but he forgave me after breakfast. It's hard, but they forgive pretty quickly which is nice.
