I am having a really hard time trying to get my son to sleep through out the night. He used to fall asleep around 9 and only wake up maybe once through out the night. But when he was around 6 months old, all of a sudden he literally wakes up every other hour. I am getting up with him at least 4 times a night. People have told me just to let him cry and he will eventually fall asleep. That seems reallly mean.. but i did try it..after about ten minutes i gave up. i went to him and "tickled" his back until he fell asleep. This seems to do the trick. As much as I would love to "tickle" his back every night for him, I also need my sleep. I do work a full time job. And he needs a healthy and alert mother. I have tried many different things with him and nothing seems to stick. As soon as I think he has finally got into the habit of sleeping all night, we are back to the same ol thing, up every other hour. I am at a dead end and ran out of ideas. Could yall please help me?!!

My kid was like that and we just let him cry for a bit then went in and gave him his dummy and a pat and now he sleeps through. If he's teething give him Panadol or whatever you call paracetamol and bonjela and let him go back to sleep on his own.

my baby boy is 9 months i still have the same problem sometimes.but i dont work cause he has this thing about being without his mom and dad.but anyways if he teething he will wake up and sometimes he might want t bottle of milk before he back to sleep.but never let them keep crying that get them sick.but try this if he wakes up go pick him up and get a something drink for you and a teething ring if thats what is hurting him if not try a bottle of milk after the teething ring or try after u get something drink to keep alert cause that helps me a lot.and check hes diaper make sure he didnt nothing in it cause he might wake up for that.good luck.let me know if that helps.
