I'm so sorry. At least now you have a clear answer and aren't left to wonder. Just try to have faith that it is for the best. Good luck hon/ Take it easy and take a little time for yourself to grieve. That is important that you acknowledge what happened so some day you can be okay with it and move on.

Hang in there dear. Its not a good sign but as Karen mentioned everything will work out as it is supposed to. I can imagine what your going thru. When you miscarrying your not necessary must have cramps but what you described . You need to see a doctor to know when its going to be complete, so you can have a peace of mind. You will be torn but you need to move on faster, the faster you move on the faster you will be ready to conceive again. Its not your fault, sometimes things just happens. Now you just need to go see doctor after you stop bleeding, to check when your levels go down, and that everything is ok. Sometimes doctors can find a reason for miscarriage, it can be thin cervix, or maybe your hormone levels too low, like progesterone, and do us those things are common in women.

I am so sorry that you are having all of this emotional up and down. Try to hang in there, everything will work out the way it is supposed to. Unfortunately, when things like this happen, it is for a reason that you may never know about. Usually it is because the fetus was not developing properly. Again, just try to hang in there.

Hi. As long as its not bright red, or cramping or together. If you get cramps along with spotting go to the er. Or if if turns more and more. Rest with your feet up.

It's not abnormal, especially after sex. As long as it stays light and there is no pain, you Should be okay. When is your next OB appt? If you're worried, ask.

I am so happy for you! See, this is why some of us insisted that you get a second opinion! From the sounds of it everything is great! Not to mention, with a heart rate that high, you might be expecting a girl!

Ok so it could be two things going on with you and i have seen both with my girlfiends, levels went up than went down, doc didnt do more tests, but levels went up, and she carried full term. She was high risk tho. I have also seen where levels went down, never went up they said she can misscarry, and just waited, she started bleeding only after 3 weeks, and ended up needing d&c. One of those could be your case. You need to go to any practice, no matter how far and get checked. If i would be you i would just wait for office after hours and go to er tonight and just tell them you are prenant and started cramping badly. They will check you and do ultrasound right away, take blood. You will walk away with clear answers. And dont have to wait days. And i strongly recomend you do that.

yea well ill look for one bcuz theres only two here and one already dosent want to see me

Karen - posted on 02/04/2013

I don't see how this new doctor knows that the other one didn't screw up the test. I'm sorry if I'm being pushy, but I think I would see a 3rd, and tell them, "Hey, I was told I was going to miscarry, but it's been a week and nothing is happening, I just want to know the status of my baby, am I'm going to lose him or not? I can't stand this just waiting around. I need to know." But that's me, I don't let anyone, not even a doctor push me around. Sometimes a woman has to be a Lioness when it comes to her children, born or not.

Well i went with another but they told me that the dont want to c me bcuz there going to end up telling me the same thing

I'm with Liz. I would go to a different doctor. Tell them you just want to be sure, and keep going to different doctors until someone will see you and give you an ultrasound. Do you have insurance? I would not back down from wanting answers. It can drive a woman crazy just sitting and waiting. Doctors are NOT God. They make mistakes. Maybe this is one of them. If it's not a mistake, you might need a D&C if the miscarriage is not happening on it's own.

Liz - posted on 02/03/2013

What about seeing a different doctor at a different practice? I'm sorry if I'm being too pushy, but I would want to have some answers. Not just, "well your numbers dropped so you're GOING to miscarry". It's been several days now. Maybe you're more patient than me, but I would be bugging them every day until they did something that gave me some definite answers. I'm so sorry you are going through all of this :(

Ana - posted on 02/03/2013

well they already told me im going to miscarriage and i dont know wat to do i dont think he will cuz he told me theres no point in doing an ultrasound ot blood test anymore

Liz - posted on 02/03/2013

Go back in there and tell them you want another ultrasound. It's not fair for you to sit in the dark, waiting for a possible axe to fall. At least that could tell you the status of your baby.

Tanya - posted on 01/29/2013

It can be mistake made by doctors, ultrasound can be off, dont panic until you get all the tests back, the best you can do for your baby is not worry, if levels went up its good sign. Can be just calculation mistake. I had ultrasound show some awful things, i went home and cried my eyes out. After many tests everything seemed to get better, eventually all those ultrasound calculations were wrong. I have beautiful healthy baby. Good luck sweeties. I will pray for you. Xoxo

Well I can't give you any guarantees, but it seems to me if your levels went up at all that that should be a good sign. When will you know more? What other test do they want you to do? Just another hcg check?

Ana - posted on 01/28/2013

so my baby will be ok

Liz - posted on 01/28/2013

I had a friend who had very low hcg levels and the doctors asked her if she had started bleeding yet. She freaked out and called me to find out what that meant. It turned out to be nothing, and her daughter is about to turn 3. It is possible that your pregnancy just isn't following the textbook, and therefore the docs are just covering their bases.

Ana - posted on 01/28/2013

i got my results back and said they went up but not much and wants me to get another test done should i worry

Kate - posted on 01/27/2013

I had the same issue, only they couldn't even find the baby for awhile. I had to get my levels checked every day for a week and they scared me with the abnormal pregnancy talk and remarking how small it was for my supposed stage of pregnancy. My boy is turning 8 now. Healthy and happy.
Even professionals have to engage in guess work and sometimes things are not as they appear.

Often times these estimates are off a little bit. Just wait until you get the test for the hcg levels done and see what that says. I am sure your doctor will explain everything, but don't be afraid to ask questions. Good luck.

My youngest two boys measured younger at the first US as well. Its probably nothing. Dont stress. 2 weeks is not that big of a deal at this point. By my second trimester both boys measured larger than normal. Good luck on your pregnancy.
