Does anyone make their own baby food? What do you use to blend/puree the food? I have tried a food processor and the Magic Bullet and am not totally satisfied. My MB broke and so I need to figure out something else so I thought before I spend the money I would ask you all! I am looking at the Kidco Babysteps Electric Food Mill. Has anyone had success with that??? I appreciate your feedback!!!!

I use the Kidco Food Mill and it works great! It takes a try or two to get the hang of it, but it works great, blends well, and is really easy to clean. I'm happy with it!

It's one of those mixers you hold in your hand and can use directly in a pot or bowl to mix things.  I've seen Emeril and Rachael Ray and a few others use it.  I wish I had thought to get one when I was making baby food lol!  Here's what it looks like :

i use a stick mixer, it is easy to clean and can be used for other things. it is hand held and is wonderful. your baby will be moving to thicker lumper textures before you know it. i would not get something that only has one use.

I like using a blender. You can make large batches quickly. You just have to add extra water.
