How and what to teach a one year child?

Walking, basic nursery rhymes and actions, were your eyes, nose, mouth ect are, simple words, animal and sounds.
Kids of this age learn from repetitiveness and fun my oldest daughter by 20 months old was singing her ABC's because if you sang it she learnt it were as my youngest 22 months old learns more from actions and is slower at speaking. Look at books and point things out like flower, cat and so on. Keep everything fun and light hearted :) and remember they learn so much in the next year anyway.
