I try to get my son somehow involved in my work so that he thinks he is helping me. Otherwise, I work while he is sleeping.

I don't know how old your daughter is, but mine is 21 months and loves to help me with whatever I'm doing. So when I'm doing dishes, I pull a chair up beside the sink and she plays in the water. Sure there's a mess to clean up afterward, but we both have fun and I get my work done. I don't know if there's anything that she can help you with, but it's just a thought. :) Best of luck!

don't worry, children are supposed to be active. It's just that so many kids do nothing but sit in front of the tv that the ones who actually like to run around and play and explore seem strange. Active is good!
