My daughter just turned 3 months and at first I was keeping her up let so that Daddy could see her when he got home big mistake. Now my daughter doesnt fall asleep until about 2 or 3 am and waking up around noon. what would be the best way to get her to go to sleep earlier?

Make it a daily regimen to give her a bath and a bottle around the time you want her to go to sleep, also make sure you try to keep her up during the day.

i'm no expert buttttt don't let her sleep so long in the afternoon - wake her up - she may be grouchy and it will be taxing on you - however for a week of misery you will reep a lifetime of happiness and by the way she's cute

I would recommend starting 15mins earlier to get her to sleep then waking her 15mins earlier than she normally wakes. After a couple of days go 15mins earlier again (so your at 30mins earlier than you started..), after a few more days go earlier till you eventually get the "bedtime" that you want. Make sure you adjust naptime accordingly too otherwise its jsut wasted effort.

Its not took hard and babies actually adjust very well, even when traveling. When ever daylight saving happens, kids always stuck to the old time. It takes about a week to adjust, but just put her to bed and down for maps when you want her to be going to bed and she will eventually adjust (about a week or less). If it was a small time shift, you can put her to bed 30 minutes ealier each night until you get the desired time. But if it is a larger time period, wake her up in the morning around the time you want her to wake up, give her some normal naps, but not too long or she will get too much sleep, then put her to bed at the time desired. This may take a few days to get use to, but she will be fine. Hope this helps.... I thnk I mightr have just repeated what the other mother said...lol.

Little babies change their sleep patterns all the time so it's certainly not too late to change. Just do it gradually eg wake her up a little earlier each day and let her nap more during the day if that makes her grumpy.

This is not going to be easy on anybody but if you stick with it it will work!
let her stay up but wake her up early, then figure out the time you want her to nap and put her to sleep in a dark room. don't let her sleep to long but enough that she isn't extreamly cranky.
Then play with her, feed her dinner, bath her, read a bedtime story and let her fall asleep. then you'll have to keep her on a sleeping scheduled as close to the same times everyday. If you get off it start over (at any age) hope this helps, take care.
