I was 17 when I fell pregnant and still at school...I had 4months left until I finished! I was 18 when my daughter was born. I had my second when i was 23.

I was 18 when I got pregnant with my oldest 19 when he was born, it was really funny because I would have older women walk up and tell me it would be ok I could still finish high school and have a great life at stores and other places and I graduated when I was 17 and got married at 18... LOL My son graduated in 2009 exactly 20 yrs after I did!

I had my oldest who is now 10 when I was 17. She was 7 weeks premature and I brought her home on Christmas Day! Best prezzie ever. I have had 4 more kids since!

You know what? Life is a beautiful gift and every child is a miracle. Try some encouragement and every mother can soar! Would you rather teen moms not be moms? Easy to say just because it never happened to you!

I was 18 when my daughter was born, my family encouraged me and I finished school and obtained a University degree, married (an attorney) and went on to have 3 other children. Our oldest is 19 and she is a beautiful bright MIRACLE! Would I want her to be a mother right now? No but it is not me who decides, if it happened I would support my daughter because it is not about ME.

I was 17 when my fist baby was born (I turned 18 a month later). My second baby wasn't born until I was 25.
Good luck, please ignore any criticism you get for being so young (Any woman can be a good mother, not just those that are 30 and married)

I was 17 when I got pregnant, 18 when he was born and got married a few months later. Now I'm 19 and an 18 month old boy and a 3 month old boy :)

I am in my late 30s now but had my first daughter when I was 18. Society appears to be much kinder to teen moms than they were in the early 90s!

Hi, I was 18yrs old when I had my son I'm 33 now. It was hard at first but with help from my grandma everything worked out good. Now I have my son age 13, a daughter age10 and another daughter age 7. Congrats on the baby and have fun! You still can after you have kids! I do and my kids make it more enjoyable!

I am not a teen mom, in fact I just had my first at 26...lol! However, my best friend in high school was and I give kudos to all of you young women. Age does not make you a good or bad parent. Your life just changes and you change with it and you just love the little one you have. All of you are doing a wonderful job and keep up the good work!! :)

i was 18 when i got pg but had my son at 19 and i was still in high school and he turned out just great he is a pain sometimes but i always remind him and tell him he never was a mistake even if i wasnt quite ready for him at the time and he was just my oops baby cause i tell him ever day that i told him from the time i had him "oops you weren't suppose to come till mommy graduated lol and he is 7 now so even though it is a big ajustment its still a wonderful thing

I enjoy every minute of my kids, having them young matured me and saved me from tons of horrible things I was doing if it wasnt for them I would probably be in jail or so strung out I wouldnt know what was going on.. THAnk GOD for little babies :) Now Im happily married and my life is on track

I was 18 when I got pregnant with my son 19 when he was born and just turned 20. I also have a 3 year old foster daughter that I've had basically since she was born and her mother was 16 when she had her. I have at least 20 friends who had babies before their 20th birthday and a couple of them are on their second and third! My mom was also a young mom, having her first at 15, giving him up for adoption and then at 18,19,20 and 21 she had me and my 3 brothers we're all very close in age :)

i was 18 when i got pregnant and had my son.. i am now 27 and have 3 kids in total. i feeling having my son at a young age was a great idea. although people frown upon it, i matured much better than other friends of mine at that age, and took life more serious than others of my age. i had my second when i was 21 and my third when i was 26.

I honestly can't imagine feeling anything...and I know that the only problem my mother has with us starting early is that we never bring the kids over often enough...so...I'm not really sure where you are going with that comment?

I was 20 when I had my oldest (now 5) but I got pregnant the first time when I was 18. Had I not had a miscarriage I would have had a baby at 18.

I was 16 when I got pregnant with my first had my baby girl 2 months after I turned 17, Got pregnant with my son at 18 gave birth 2 months after I turned 19 now, I got pregnant again when he was 8 months old now I'm 20 and expecting another little girl in 19 days :) Good luck to you. Dont let ppl bring u down.. Age does NOT defy the type of mother you are (:

I had emily when i was 19 she is off to school in 3 weeks time. I have voluntared for an agency that helped me threw bringing up my child for the first 18months of my childs life. I have delt with alot of young mums. Being a young parent is hard there are many hurdles but in the end worth it. I am in process of getting a career (currently studying). My daugther is advanced for her age and over prepared for school.I am also getting married next year. Being a young parent is hard rewarding and it doesnt all have to turn out negative which you will probably find youll get alot of. But congrats keep your head high when you get down know there is always a silver lineing,youll do just great!

I was 16 when i had my first. I definitely would Not recommend it. I was not ready to take care of a baby when I still needed someone to take care of me. But I would not trade my son for anything in this world. I Thank God On a daily basis that I have children, It is more so since one went to be with the Lord 5 yrs ago. With all the stress's of being a Mom I would Never want to be anything else

I was 16 when I got pregnant with my son. Then I didn't try having any more until he was 3. Got pregnant a second time when I was 26 and had a miscarriage. Then had 4 more before adopting my daughter at the age of 28. I wouldn't change a thing about being a teen mom. Yes it was hard but wroth every minute of it. Enjoy every moment and if someone offers to watch the baby let them. You need a break just like every other mom.

I was 17 when i got prego with my first boy and had him when i turn 18. Then got prego with the 2nd boy at 18 and had him at 19. I am now 28 and prego with are 4th child. I raised by older two boys by myself for a couple of years before i met my husband. When i say i did it all by my self i mean i had no family or boyfriend around. Young moms can do anything they put their minds to. You are going to make a great mom. Keep your head up and love you child like theres nothing else in the world!!!!!

I was 18 when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. It was a planned pregnancy. Don't know why someone that young would plan it but we did, and I'm glad we did. Then I had my son at 20. And we are now expecting our third child any day at 23. It will be our last, but hubby and I are very proud of our family. As long as you have the love, it will work =)

I was 19 when I found out I was exspecting my 1st. and 23 for my second. I am almost 30 now. I don't feel like the age is what people frown on so much, I think it is the maturity fo the exspecting parents. You are an adult now weather it be by age or parenthood. So many young parents use there age as a copout to having someone else raise their child for them.(Grandparents for example) I am not saying that you are one of them, I just wanted to throw that out there. Alot of people thought my parents would be rasing my child/children ...But under no circumstances was I going to let that be the case. I just had alot of growing up to do fast. The party scene was no longer an option. Before giving birth or after. Unfortunatly my daughter(s) father wasn't ready to give that up, so I had to do it alone.

I was 17 when I got pregnant, married, and had my son. I graduated from high school, attended college and am 24 and still happily married with a newborn baby girl. Out of all my friends I am the only one still married to the actual father of my kids! I do wish I would have waited till I was older to have my son, but it happened for a reason and am thankful he changed my life for the better. Who knows where I would be now if I wouldnt have had to change my life around for a child.

i had my son at the age of 16 and my hubby was 15,,,,i am now 27 with 3 beautiful boys ages 11,,3,,and 1 yrs!! and yes i did graduate high school, me and my husband just started our family early! we got married at the age of 22,, i just became a stay at home mommy with my 3 and 1 yr old my 11 is always in school,,, never and will never b on welfare my husband works his ass off for his family everyday,, as soon as my baby turns 2 i plan on goin back to work,,,

Hi Emily, i had just turned 17 when i found out i was pregnant and had only been with my partner for two months, i was soooo scared. When i had her being a mum just came naturally and i loved it, we went on to have another daughter when i was 22 and just my luck another girl at 23, god our house is fun. I had to grow up really quickly but it hasnt stopped me from having a life and i wouldnt change a thing

I was 18 when I got pregnant for my oldest and had just turned 19 when she was born. I did a lot of growing up during my pregnancy and after she was born..I am still growing!! I am now 32 (will be 33 in August) but I love being a mom and she is a great kid..she has 3 siblings that are the loves of my life!

I am not a teen mom in any way, but I still had something to say about the topic. I think it is great that these girls chose to have the baby, because I think abortion is one of the most terrible things a woman could do, personally. However, I would not change for the world how I was as a teen. I never had to worry about an accidental pregnancy because I obtained completely. I think you need to enjoy your youth before being a mom, because being a mom is A TOUGH job! But, for those that did not chose that path, and chose to raise their children instead of taking the easy way out, I do commend you all!
