How many of you got negative pregnancy test results but were actually pregnant?

it took me at least 2 tests EVERY WEEK for 3 months till it came back positive. and i was 3 months when i got the tests back fromt he doctor. she thinks that i must have known the week i fell. i confirmed it and went to the doctor when i started vomiting every morning for no reason and was having what i thought was a heartattack but was actually indigestion. i have never had it before and i had it all the way thru. i used to get it that bad i would be in tears. so im pretty P O'd at the pregnancy tests for being so wrong. and yeah i tried every brand on the shelf

I did, took a test on a sunday night, negative. Then the next day went to the dr (thinking it was a virus or flu I was experiencing) and nope...pregnant!

EEiisshh! After reading all of these posts... My last menstrual cycle was Jan 3rd, 2010. 3 tests later, I'm not pregnant... I have a 10 mo old, and recently found out my thyroid is low, and started a supplement. This is probably the reason, and the fact that we weren't supposed to be able to have kids in the first place.. After reading all these, it makes ya wonder.. I never knew I was pregnant w/ her until I was 8 wks, but was having symptoms.. I have none now.. Craziness....

with both of my sons i didnt set off a pregnancy test even the blood test. with my first son we didnt even know we were pregnant until he was born! with the second son i begged the doctor to just do an ultrasound even though my test was negative only to find out i was 11 weeks along

I took the pregnancy test early at 2 & 3 weeks pregnant, and it came up negative twice. Yet I could feel something was different about my body, even though I had my cycle it fell short a few days, and was very light. Afterwards, I had breast tenderness, and dizziness. I was 8 weeks pregnant when I took the test again, & decided to just have a Dr. confirm it, I knew I was pregnant I could feel it in every fiber of my being but couldn't prove it till I went to the Dr, lol. Now I'm in my third trimester, still baffled that I'm going to be a mother of two, what will now be my 2nd son. I never thought I'd be a mother of two but what is life without it's happy surprises!

hi its me again, after taking 5 tests iv finally got a positive one. im going back to the doctors on monday to see how far along i am. yay im having my 2nd baby :) x

With my first one I took 27 pregnancy test... all negative... I went to the doctor cause I was sick... she asked if I might be pregent my resopnce "I hope so!" My daugher is now 10....

well i would consider the blood test or schedule an ultra sound but look your own mind can play tricks on you especially if you want a baby or if your so careful to not get prego. try that first then wait a few more days.

I didnt even have any signs of being pregnant until 3 months later, considering I was on birth control and never had unprotected sex, after takin 5 test all coming out negative I thought for sure I wasnt! Then almost 2 months later I didnt get my period at all!! So your body has a mind of its own.... Id say go get a blood test to know for sure or youll end up in my boat!!!! and that boat stunk

Isn't it funny how they say you typically get pregnant 12-14 days after your period and that is often not the case. I took 7 pregnancy tests with my 2nd including the idiot proof ones that say "yes" or "no". I knew I was pregnant! It wasn't until 2 weeks after my missed period that it finally came back "YES". Congrats in advance!

Im still waiting to find out. Im two weeks late but I was told that I should wait until I miss my next period before I go in to get tested. This is so frustrating........

yip me to!! 3 test later and it still read negative i went to my g.p and she could feel it with her hands but i was nearly 18 weeks by then and we put it down to stress why we had so many negative results good luck

ya done 4 home preg tests that were negative then a few weeks later wend 2 doc and found out i was preg got the shock of my life

i tock around 6 home tests and a blood test (which where all negative) over around 4 months before i finally got a positive test the only reason i kept trying is because i hadn't had a period since my son was born who at the time was about 9 months old.

I did, and my blood test also came back with a slight hormone level, but the dr assumed i miscarried and asked me to go back for another test the following week. I did and that one came back positive. It turns out my levels weren't high enough yet as I actually fell pregnant 2 days before my period. We worked it out as we hadnt had intercourse all month until 2 days before, (we were working opposite shifts all month.)

I had two negative home pregnancy tests before I got my positive Beta. The first one was only 10 days past ovulation, which is supposed to be the earlies the early tests can pick up on the pregnancy hormone. If you read the fine print on those early tests, they are only 55% accurate that early so in hindsight I should not have been surprised. I took another test two days later, which was supposed to be 85% accurate, and it came up negative again. I was convinced I wasn't pregnant and was absolutely shocked when the Beta came back positive. Turns out the home tests can't pick up a positive until you hit a 50 on the Beta, mine was 46 so I would have got a positive had I taken the test late that same day. yes, im in the same boat, im 5 days late and have taken 2 tests and both were negative but i have the same feeling as what i did with my son iv got a doctors appointment on monday so we will see. but with my first i took 8 tests and all were negative, when i did take my 9th test it was finally positive, i had a scan 2 days later and i was 15 weeks pregnant my son is now 10 months old. :)

i have and i was only a weeks pregnantwhen i found out by a blood test with my daughter who is now 18 and my son i was 12 weeks and i had to have a blood test again
