I'm exclusively breastfeeding and my baby's Dr at her 6 month appointment told me to feed her 4 times a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and before bed. But she was slightly underweight and once they hit 6 months he said it was better to offer more solids then to start formula. But if your baby is formula feed and at a good weight then how often to feed solids might be different.
