how often should a 6 month old eat solids a day?

I am giving him veggies in the morning and formula the rest of the day. Is that enough?

Just the mornings. Really, you're helping them learn to taste different things and swallow correctly. You're doing it right. :)

My baby's 5 months, and I give her formula in the mornings, then till the evening I give her formula and pureed food, sometimes even mix them upand then 2oz water. I dont give her at food at night, only formula becuz it makes her poop very hard the next day :) hope it helps

I'm exclusively breastfeeding and my baby's Dr at her 6 month appointment told me to feed her 4 times a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and before bed. But she was slightly underweight and once they hit 6 months he said it was better to offer more solids then to start formula. But if your baby is formula feed and at a good weight then how often to feed solids might be different.

Thank you very much now I feel alot more comfortable. The problem is that I am living outside the states because my husband is in the prossess of getting his papers to come back to the US so im trying to raise my baby the American way in another country! NOT EASY! but hopefully this website will help! :)
