i gained 48 lbs in my whole pregnancy and i still have 20 lbs of my baby fat and many stretch marks left over. i was told that the stretch marks would go away but im scared that ithey wont....i just dont know what i could do to get rid of them. i was thinking that maybe if i put the palmers stretch mark cream on them that they would dissappear but i dont know..if u have any helpful hints on either loosing baby fat or getting rid of stretch marks..please share..thanks.

i agree with diana. i did not get stretch marks that bad because i used almond oil twice a day and drank a lot of water, but i also swam and walked a lot to keep my weight down. at the end of the day i am a mama now and eventhough i am heavier my body produced another human!!! that is amazing and i think we need to buy new loose fitting clothes and burn the old tight ones in celebration that we are new women now with beautiful healthy baby's.

I was 160 when I had my daughter and after i had her i was 220! After 4 Years im finally 175 and still counting down the weight! I still have the stretch marks and everyone tells me that they are my tiger stripes :) But i still use coco butter lotion and what has helped lose the weight running around with my daughter as well as eating healthy! As far as working out i usually do 100 crunches 20 push ups and lift weights 50 times. I do it 3 times a week and i feel allot better about my self. my stretch marks have faded to a point but not all the way. Hang in there ladies!! Not everything works just do what you can on your own schedule!!

I did winsor pilates with my first [when she was sleeping] 20 mins a day every day for as long u like, its up to u. I got the flat tummy tight bum and tone legs, but i also kept active and rested when need to [no need to exaust your self] also drink plenty of water. Did the same with my second except the pilates caus your busy with both kids anyway. Now i am expting my third.Do give it a try i swear by it, but just remember everybody bodys is differant. The stretch marks i used Bio Oil and drank plenty of water still no stretch marks.....good luck..

getting or not getting stretch marks is genetic. I massaged my belly everyday with cocoa butter and olive oil, plus drank lots of water and I still got stretch marks. right enough my last baby weighed 11lb 9oz and my first pregnancy was twins, so I didn't really have much hope of not getting any. You can never get rid of stretch marks, they only fade with time.

losing the baby weight... only exercise will do that. If you are breastfeeding don't diet, just try eat as healthily as you can. Exercise is the key.

I just had my second child 8 weeks ago. I gained 37 pounds and have lost 17 pounds so far. I am trying to eat 400 calories every 4 hours and work out 30 minutes 3 times a week, I also used bellybandit. I think it worked, I wore it for 4 weeks. You can google it if you want to know more about it. I hope this helps!

I have three kids and barely any stretch marks. Only because I drank a ton of water, and lotioned my belly three times a day during my pregnancies. My husband loves that I took the time to prevent the worst of them. The ones I have are on my thighs, and I wear them with pride! They scream mom, so I earned the right to have them. One thing I do know is avoid tanning the areas with marks, thet stay light and show up worse. Otherwise give it time, they do fade on there own a little, and bio oil helps a lot for the rest!

The best info I got for loosing baby weight, if not breast feeding, is to cut one of your meals down to around 100 calories. I haven't tried it yet, just heard about it. Not sure how true it is. And for the exercise, to loose weight I've been told on top of the 30 min to maintain weight add an hour. If you work out an hour already, up it to 2 hrs. That has actually helped me. I put on almost 85 lbs. being pregnant and have lost 20 of it.

Alot of that is genetic, honestly there isnt much you can do for stretch marks, those just take time. You can help them along by using olive oil or coco butter and massaging them. For loosing wait use cayanne in a lot of your food, eat healthy, not much and mostly plants. And excersize, have plenty of sex and walks get into swimming laps or yoga, running or hula hooping.

Well I don't know about getting rid of either fast. But I have been doing Weight Watchers for a 1 year and have lots 64 lbs. It has worked for me so far, and sorry to say I have no clue on how to help for the stretch marks.
