what do other sahm do to meet other sahm? I get lonely at home and bored very quickly. any ideas?

go to momsclub.org to see if there is a chapter in your area. It has all the info you need.

Yes i hear ya, i get very lonely and bored at times too! i go to my local community centre,where they have swimming classes and mommey and baby groups! i met tons of sahm,i think thats the best way,cause believe it or not they are in the same boat as you are! i wish you the best of luck:) anything else you wanna know i'd be happy to help:)

I would suggest starting at the local library, most libraries have mommy and me story time once or twice a week, and if they are in the late morning, say 10-10:30 then you will mostly find SAHM's there. I honestly didn't meet any other SAHM's besides my next door neighbor until my daughter went into preschool this last year. But keep trying, take walks around the neighborhood, keep ur eyes out in the local paper for mommy groups or playground groups. They are all good places to start. If you can meet just one other mommy friend you will soon be introduced to some more. Good Luck Momma! And please know you are not the only one.
