I'm having a wierd vibrating feeling in my 9 mo pregnant belly.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills! Do you ever remember your belly vibrating during pregnancy? It's very faint but I know it's there! It's been happening for about 4 days all throughout the day. It's strong enough for me to feel it everytime but I cannot feel it with my hands when I place them on my belly. It's also only on one side, where her back is. I'm wondering if maybe she's using her vocal cords? Or my muscles are spasming (which I think I would feel from the outside). Anyone know what this is? I'm 37 weeks.

im 37wks and it started happening to me about 3wks ago and it feels like my phone on my belly on vibration its a weird feeling and u cant feel it with ur hand just feel it inside when i asked the midwife she said it a sign of ur bub moving down in cervix and when there doing that it causes a vibration in ur cervix she said its a normal and good sign and it must be true as im already 3cm :)

i had a weird vibrating too and thought he might be having a fit in my belly but when he came out he would do a little shake.. a bit like what we do now and then when our body does a little shake lol.. so could be that or hiccups but if your worried talk to your midwife

I had that, and when I told people or the doc they looked at me like I was insane! I still wonder what it was..

And it kinda feels like you swallowed ur phone and it rang while it was on vibrate? lol... felt that. And I still have no clue what it was... but i wouldnt worry.

It's not hiccups, she's been having those for weeks and they're in my pelvis because she's facing down already. And it's not the jolting feeling because I've had those too where you think the baby is having a seizure or something in your belly. It feels like she's in there humming. It's very light, consistant, and not at all jolting.

I think I know what you are talking about.When I was pregnant and about 8 mths it felt as if my baby was having jolting attacks it was really weird but after I gave birth my baby girl was healthy as ever so I don't know if its hiccups b/c thats every few seconds a jolt but what was going on with me was a continuous jolt like vibrating as you describe. no worries everything is fine; )

:D It sounds like your baby might have the hiccups. One side would mean the side her head is on. Next time it happens try to notice if it happens rhythmically on even intervals. The hiccuping sensation feels really funny the first time. Sometimes the hiccupping is so soft that it feels like a vibration and other times it is so strong that your whole belly will move up and down. I had the strong ones with my son and soft ones with my daughter.
