My sinuses are killing me. I told my hubby this morning that I needed a sick day... unfortunately he couldn't stay or work from home. Thankfully the kids are playing well together and letting me relax.

yah those days are tough! especially if you dont have family or friends around to come over and help. Just take some advil or some daytime stuff and dont do anymore than you need to for a couple days if your stuck

I was so dismayed the first time my son and I got the flu. There we were, laying on a blanket on the living room floor, watching Elmo to keep him from crying all day. He was puking on me, I was puking in a wastebasket. It was then that I realized what being a mom really means - that you don't get to just lay around when you are sick - you have to take care of others. I called my mom and thanked her for all she did for us.

HI! I can sympathesize. I have had a sinus/bronchitis thing. We live five states away from any family. Most of my friends are too busy with their own children to help. But it can only get better from here!

I'm there now too. My hubby works two jobs so I don't have to work, my son has a ear infection/cold, and I have a lung infection/cold. My meds put me out of commission, but I have to stay coherant enought to watch my bundle of no fun and troubles. It stinks that babysitters can't help in these situations. Though I know they wouldn't want to get sick either.

I know that feeling! My son will let me nap for about 1/2 hour on the living room floor, but that's about all he's good for. And that's with one of his favorite movies in. And since I'm BF, there's not much I can take! When your hubby gets home, have him take over, and you go lie down!

i know the feeling i have such a bad cold and i want a sick day as well but the trouble is my daughter is only 2 months old and iam breast feeding so it kinda puts a damper on me taking a very long nap.
