My son got his first two bottom teeth at 3 months old. I didn't even know he was teething until he bit me while breast feeding! Then I knew. :D Three weeks later he got his top two teeth and now at coming 9 months he has 8 teeth. I have been lucky he is a good teether, very drooly but otherwise very happy.

my second daughter liked to suck her two fingers instead of her thumb. Her two top teeth can in quickly at the same time and she bit her fingers hard. She never sucked her fingers again. She must have been around 9 mo. It was very stressful because she still needed to soothe herself and couldn't. She absolutely refused all pacifiers

My step-son started getting his first tooth at about 5 months, he cried and baby orajel really didnt do too much, the wet cold washcloth really helped him, he chewed on it a lot. When he started to get his other teeth most of them were no problem, now he is 21 months and getting his last 4 teeth before his two year old molars and he is crying and in pain again, but anbesol works amazingly, and he can be soothed a lot easier now.

My son was 9 months old and they all came in within weeks. My daughter got her first 2 when she was 3 months and she had 4 teeth when she was 4 months and then the rest came in around 6 months. She has 9 teeth now and is working on the 10th. My kids weren't in a lot of pain like some kids. Mine were never up during the night crying or needed medication. If they seemed to be in a chewing mood during the day i would use a frozen facecloth.

Bleh. It was a couple of weeks before Christmas and my daughter was six months old. My husband had volunteered with this organization that drives people home after holiday parties so they don't drive drunk. He was out having a grand time getting entertained by all the crazies until 4 am and I was alone with the baby. So of course that's when she's going to get her first tooth.
She literally screamed until 3 in the morning. Non stop all night. Nothing helped. Next day there was a tooth there.
I guess the good thing about it was it was just that one night of horror. Every other tooth came in with no fuss at all. She's 13 months with 8 teeth now.

my sons teeth just poppe through overnight. I found out one morning when I was breastfeeding. He bit me and there were two little white teeth poking through. He was a very quick teether and had all his teeth at 18 months

It's been a few years and many teeth ago, but I do remember something that never left my mind after all these years.
I was babysitting, I was probably a teenager, or close, and this poor baby could not be soothed, I tried everything. Finally, I called the parents to come home. When they did, she paid me for my services and prepared to take me home. The daddy attended to the baby. I remember walking past the nursery on the way out.The father was holding his daughter, trying to soothe her...and I noticed he was crying. I never forgot the immense love he showed when he felt her pain.
