My mother mostly wants I and my kids, hubby too, to move closer (being maybe 2 hours away, they live in AL) to them and hubby doesnt want to live anywhere in AL. I asked him about and he said that I and the kids can move there and he wont :( What should I do?

i agree two hours isnt far at all.its enough distance to where it would be a good treat to drive there once a week or month or something.you and your hubby have your own life together you have too meet in the middle why doesnt he want to move? my hubby wants to move but i dont want too right now he has a camp job where he is gone 75 percent of the time so i said i shouldnt have to sacrifice leaving my friends and family when he isnt home anyway....if your situation is simular to that i can see it being more of a issue but if my hubby was around more id consider moving to please him...

Two hours away isn't all that bad, the question is, would you walk away from your hubby to be closer to your mom? I love my mom but i know that when i'm 75 she isn't gonna be the one holding my hand across the breakfast table and watching our grandkids play in the yard, I would stay with your hubby and maybe talk to him later about a compromise, if his work wouldn't be jeopardized.
