Hi Vanessa and Leslie, I am a SAHM also. I have a son who is 9 and twin daughters who are 17 mo. old. I stay home with them, but i also have my own business that I do right off of my computer. I never have to leave home or do shows or anything. It's a network marketing business. I know, it sounds complicated but its really not. All that means is that you work from your computer. If you would like more info please email me at mandim8379@yahoo.com. I would love to share my business with both of you. This would be perfect. Thank you for your time and God Bless.

Hi Vanessa!

first want to say congrats on your new baby. And I understand with everything else how hard it is looking for legit work at home. I have been a stay at home mom for about 7 yrs and I too started out looking for a work at home job. I found several differnt site some that wanted you to pay for their job boards, And some I did just that. Only to find out I would be making 7 to 8 dollars an hour (on top of trying to keep a 3 yr old and 4yr old quite for 3 to 4 hours) Of course these companies don't want the people calling to know that you are infact at home.

So I then started to take a different approach, I started looking into work at home business. I too not a sell person at all. Found tons of information and business out there. What I did in decideing was to make a list of thing I would do and a list of things that I would never do. That's when I found this great company. It has truly been a God sent. Now if you are serious about working from home I would get my list statred. And go for it Also listen to this call this business has truly changed or family( and still changing) I would like you to give me a honest opion of what you think even if you think this is not for you. 1-800-514-1258

Thanks in advance,
Patrice

Hi Vanessa!

I am a stay at home mom with 2 boys 4 1/2 and 18 months. I started looking for work at home opportunities just after having my first son. I tried a few different things and lost money in the process. I finally found something that makes total sense. I don't sell products, carry inventory or have to do home parties and the start up is only $29! Not only that, but if you decide it's not for you, you get a full refund! There is absolutely NO RISK! It is seriously the best home business! I'd love to get in touch with you to give you all of the information! Send me an e-mail and I'll give you a call to set up a time to talk. If you decide it's not for you, no problem...there's no pressure at all, but I guarantee it will be worth your time. Hope to chat soon!

Just be careful about whatever you choose to do. There are SO many scams out there, it's unbelievable. I had been searching for a job for the past 2 1/2 years and I have come across so many companies that seemed legit, but they were not. Some things that I found out that were dead give a ways of a scam are: poor grammar on website, website says "get rich quick" (if only it were that easy), job description does not actually tell you what you'll be doing..., HIGH start up cost (that is a BIG red flag). Take a look at www.wahm.com for some ideas of LEGIT companies to work for! Good luck to you!

The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep.org) is seeking several dynamic, results-oriented Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaisons for our new organization.

Are you an energetic and highly motivated self-starter? Are you talented in establishing and nurturing business relationships?

About The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep):

The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep) is the national graduate study prep program and fellowship for those seeking higher education to evoke positive change worldwide. This faith-based, national program is supported and led by Deans, Faculty, Administrators, Business Executives and Social Entrepreneurs worldwide.

We have a 3-pronged mission for our members:

• For prospectives to successfully prepare for graduate school through our programs and utilize their degrees to become positive change agents.

• For current students and alumni graduates to network and explore career opportunities at our events, serve as mentors to our prospectives, and become positive change agents as leaders within their communities.

• For Graduate Schools and Corporations to utilize the organization as a means to promote their institutions, recruit quality talent, design innovative curricula, and learn dynamic recruiting and retention methods.

Our Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaisons will possess the necessary skills to galvanize memberships from U.S. Graduate Schools and Companies through sales copy, telephone contact, and personal campus/office visits.

Your objectives would include:

* Developing an authentic, dynamic telephone approach that "opens the door"

* Designing a high quality sales copy that produces desired results

* Visiting colleges and corporations, either in person or by phone, to build relationships and gain memberships

* Achieving weekly goals for new memberships

Colleges and corporations have 2 different options for membership with The National Graduate Preparatory Program (GradPrep). Depending upon which program you enroll them in, as an Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaison, you will receive either $200 or $500 for each school or corporate membership you sign on for us.

For example, within 1 University, there may be 5 'colleges'. If each of those colleges signed the lower tier membership, you would receive $200 for each membership = $1,000. And that is only within 1 University! In the same example, if those 5 colleges chose the higher tier membership, you would receive $500 for each membership = $2,500! Your financial possibilities are endless!

We are looking for an individual with the following skills:

* Excellent communication skills

* Positive, dynamic, and natural personality

* Self-motivation with a "can-do" attitude

* Enjoys accountability and producing results

* Personal confidence, yet maintains a humble, authentic "sales pitch"

* A sales pitch that doesn't sound like a typical "sales pitch"; should be trusting and conversational in tone

* Excellent time management skills

Our Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaisons will be able to work from home. You have the option to obtain client memberships by using effective sales copy, emails, and phone calls, and we also recommend visiting the colleges/corporations in your area. You must have excellent verbal and written English skills. You must feel comfortable within collegiate and corporate environments. We need someone who can embrace the challenge of a start-up organization. We will begin this role as a Summer project, approximately 10-25 hours per week, ending in September. However, if you are successful, this will lead to an ongoing contract with us.

If you are interested in applying for our Academic/Corporate Marketing Liaison role, please submit a cover letter and resume, no later than Friday, May 15, 2009 to contactus@gradprep.org.

We look forward to hearing from you!

I work from home with a great company that has been around for 24 years and with the better business bureau. What is so great about what I do is that there’s no large investment, no stocking/delivery of products like Mary Kay, Avon, etc., and there is no selling! I simply help others save money, live green and earn an extra income. While this isn't a "get rich quick" type thing, the money can be great if you are motivated and dedicated to making your own business work! I'd love to share it with you! Just request more info. at my site www.familiesrok.com and I can share everything with you over an appointment.

Hi Vanessa, I stay at home with my 3 children and a step-son and am a persoanl representative for an awesome skin care company called Votre Vu! You do it from home, you place orders on line and the items are sent directly to your customers! and the great thing is that you get a commission on what the people under you sell also! This company has been in France for almost 80 years and just launched here a few months ago and is already over $1 million in sales. It is a naturally based product and has amazing results. The great thing about this company is that since it has started it only has 2000 reps and is expected to be bigger than Mary Kay, just think of the possibilities if you were to get in now and get people below you and they get people below them, the potential here is awesome!! You earn on EVERYONE below you! Please contact me, I would be more than happy to give you some information and send you samples. :) Good luck!

I am also a stay at home mom, I have a 17 month old and 8 yr old. I started working for this co. a few months ago and i love it.They are a manufacturing Company. I refer customers to their co.  They train you on all of their products.
They have been in business more than 20 years, they will be a Billion Dollar Company this year. They deliver quality Health and Wellness products to households all around the world. They are a green Company, all of their products are all non-toxic (have absolutely no harmful chemicals), all hypoallergenic, safer and less expensive than grocery brands.

(This is a commission position; it is not a salaried position).

Why don't we set up an appointment, I can tell you all about the Co. and you can decide if it's something for you and if it will fit into your life and can meet some of your needs.

It's 30 minutes on the phone with me by your computer so you can see what I'm talking about.

Let me know what day and time best works for you.  Thanks, Nicole

Hi Vanessa - I'm a SAHM too, actually homeschool all three daughters and have a home business.

You've got lots of options.  Take a look at what skills you have.  Clerical?  Bookkeeping? Artistic talent?  Simple, repetitive tasks can be done right at home, only problem is the pay won't be as good.

Here's a link to an article I wrote for Ezine - http://ezinearticles.com/?Life-Force-Int....  This will explain a bit about the Company I'm with.

Here's the links to a couple of my Squidoo lenses - http://www.squidoo.com/createwealthwithh...

http://www.squidoo.com/Life_Force_Intern...

If you do choose a home business, my advice to you is to become a student of marketing.  The old fashioned "home party" type of marketing doesn't work well anymore.  The future is online.

Hope this has been helpful to you!

All the best,

I would be interested in anything dealing with working from home that is not a scam or selling things door to door basically. So if you have awesome ideas please feel free to email me at kristinpell07@yahoo.com I will def. look into it and get back with you. Thanks a million girls! Take care!

Hi Kristin,

I work from home part-time and create an ongoing income by doing product brokerage and internet marketing.  We find products that people want and need by listening to their complaints.  We offer the best health and nutrition products that you can find on the market today and we teach people how to get paid for shopping online.  My company has just partnered with Microsoft and Google to create the ultimate online shopping destination, like Amazon.com, but 3 times it's size currently.  We are growing fast and in an ecomony like today, I wouldn't want to put myself in any other situation.  We do not carry inventory and you do your business how you want.  Once you build a team of partners you create an income that will keep paying you whether you work or not.  By the way, you get 100% of business volume that all of your partners sell.  Doesn't that sound amazing.  You leverage your time to create time and money freedom.  The most amazing thing is that we as partners are all here for each other and help eachother succeed.  If you follow the system you can get there in 2-3 years instead of working for someone else and not have any money when you want to retire.  It's the simplest business that I have seen and everyone is making money.  We set you up for success from the beginning and there is no way to fail.  You also get all of the great products at cost to use yourself, if you like.

check out my website or give me a call if this sounds like something you'd be interested in learning more information.

I am too a stay at home mom of 2 and I was looking into doing a home based business in order to save on child care and raise my own children about a year ago. I ran into this opportunity that was to hard to pass up. It was little money for a huge return. If you are looking to change your life and create a residual income, give me a call. It will be the biggest company in the next few years and you don't want to pass this up... We just partnered with Microsoft and Google and customize any product for our customers. And I love it when parents come back to me and say, my kids eat more fruits and vegetables now, or WE never eat at fast food resturants anymore...All because of the information I gave them.

I am wondering how much extra money do SAHM's need. I am a licensed real estate agent and I do real estate deals throughout the year. Yes, I have to work showing property, but that is mostly on nights or weekends.

I know that if I needed extra money (saying i wasn't a realtor), I would need about $1000 to $1500 a month at least.

So, are you we talking about $100-$500 or are we talking about more $$$$?

Quoting Carissa:

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share with you a little about my home business! I am a part of a wellness company that is 100% Risk Free Guaranteed! It's totally legit! The company has an A rating with the BBB (better business bureau) and is in the BBB and Inc. 500 Hall of fames!

No selling, No inventory, no handing out products, No catalogs to hand out, No deliveries!

It's a job you literally do AT home! I love it and will be with this company for life!

leave a message, send me a message or give me a call if you'd like to chat about the business! No obligations!

Hi, I just want to share what works for me. I found a company that allows me to own my own online travel site. They even provided education so that I can present myself legally as a Travel Agent. It is lots of fun. I can book group cruises, and just do every day travel bookings for hotels, fight, and car rental. Plus a ton more! I also get lots of travel perks. I was impressed that it only cost $500.00 to own my own business, and $49.00 a month to keep my site up and running with competitive travel rates and great customer service. If your looking for ways to own your business this could be the option for you. Check out www.traveltime.webs.com for all the information. Owning Connor Creek Travel, works for me, I'm my own boss and I have the freedom to work as much as I want. I can get tax benefits, and control of my time. Again, this works for me.
