Hello Fellow Mom's!!! My name is Jennifer. I am a stay at home mother of Two boys One is 9 and the Other is 6 months. I am stuck in my house 24/7 it feels like. You can also go to www.meetup.com - then do a search for PLAYGROUP and enter your zip code...When I lived in TX, I found a GREAT group this way & we were members til we left 8 months ago...I made some TERRIFIC friends & it was great for the kids to play together, meetup for lunch, at the park, zoo, aquarium, etc...or just play at each others' houses. If there's not a group in your area...start one!

I just moved to Chattanooga TN. My husband is a truck driver and is gone most of the time. I don't have any friends here. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 19 month old son. I would love to meet a few other mothers and try to have a social life again.

I am in a similar boat -i live in italy and have a 3.5 yr old and 2 yr old and really no one to talk too since my close friends are in ny and are single professionals or have oltre kids. (i'm 40).

My son is a handful -lots of 2 yr old energy and my daughter is a bit easier since she is older and in pre-school but a nightmare at meals!



On a diff note -has anyone here heard of P.E.T. Training - Gordon method ? I was thinking of doing it to learn how to talk to my kids better .... I find my patience wearing thin!

I just wanted to say that when I first had my son I joined a Breastfeeding Support Group and I am still close with those girls 4 years later. I also joined LE LECHE LEAGUE and got involved in a Babywearing group! We have more friends now than I did in college. I also do MOPS and am apart of a church. Just join stuff!
