Hello fellow stay-at-home moms! This morning on the Today Show, the ever opinionated Dr. Laura Schlessinger, debuted her new book entitled "In Praise of Stay at Home Mom's". In her interview she talked about how much scrutiny we fall under for choosing to put our children first and stay at home with them... people view us as lazy, underachieving, old fashioned, women. But on the contrary, she says, it is the best thing and the biggest sacrifice you can make for your children... and to just imagine all of the things you would miss if you didn't stay with them.



I am so delighted that one of the strongest, most influential women of our time has chosen to praise the sacrifices we have ALL made, in order to not have to miss one single smile, tear, or hug from our beautiful children. I wanted to share my excitement with you all and to also say that we have the hardest, most self-less job ever created, and we should never forget to be proud of ourselves at the end of each day.



Thank you Doctor Laura and love to all of my fellow stay-at-home moms! I am so excited to read this book...

thats awesome i just finished one of her other books how to properly feed and care for husbands. she's a great lady. i totally get what you say as soon as you say im a stay at home mom they say oh so you dont work you want to scream i work 24/7! but of course we dont. im gonna look for the book thanks for youre post i tend to look at the flaws i made thru the day rather than tell myself good job.
