Was thinking we can all use some inspiration, how about we share our favorite quotes, website links and thoughts to help encourage one-another. I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with :-P

I'll start with this one on happiness: http://projectbebold.com/?p=725

I love this thread idea!

I have these written on my wipeboard in my kitchen for daily inspiration...

"You must BE the change you wish to see in the world!" --- Mahatma Gandhi

"Light tomorrow with today". --- Elizabeth Barrett Browning

"There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle." --- Albert Einstein

"Failure is impossible" --- Susan B. Anthony

Carolee, I grew up with my mother telling me that same exact quote. It's helped me tremendously during times of trial.

"This, too, shall pass"

I think of this two ways. For the bad times, they will get better. For the good/cute times, write it down or get the camera out QUICK so you can remember!!!

Two recent stories from my life...

#1 Sick, fussy crying kids all day and I am very stressed. Hubby comes home and right as I about to loose my cool with screaming 17 mo old I am holding- the baby grabs my face and plants a huge, goobery open mouth kiss on my cheek. Mind you he never gives me kisses. That one kiss made the whole day worth it.

#2 I have 4 kids ranging from 15-1 and it seems I always end up with somebody else's as well. I currently watch a family member's little one who is the same age as mine, 17 mo. She has begun calling me mama, even though I correct her frequently. My mother used to own a daycare and kids called her mom all the time. The parents made jokes about her being mama #2. I am thankful to be home and be my kids' mama!
