no its not! i wasnt paying attention and i fed my baby some food after 3 days of opening and she threw it all up. and she usually never throws up the baby food.

Well, let me say this... First and foremost if you have fed your infant directly from the jar of baby food it should be discarded at the end of the feeding. If you removed a portion with clean utensils and then refrigerated the jar and you're now on the 3rd day, you can use it, but I would do a smell/taste check. However, it should NOT be kept beyond 72 hours! A good way to save is if you have an open jar of food, try to use it at the next meal, even if you mix it with another fruit or veggie. It will give baby variety and save costs. Of course, this is after you've checked for the baby's tolerance of the food item!

i think it'll not be wise to still use it if it's already 3 days old. babies' tummies are a lot more sensitive than older kids. it is best to just throw it out
