WOW that's a good one! Not I. If it's a clean the house day or I am just lounging (which is hardly ever) then no I won't do the makeup thing maybe brush the hair and ponytail. If it's a run errands day then I will then do eyeliner and lip gloss only and a quick curl (nothing at all fancy). This is only on the great days when I actually have time to even do this much!

wow. I read most of your responses and they make me feel so much better. It is a big deal if i get to take a shower long enough to take a shave.

I don't usaully even put it on when I leave the house. I actully brush my hair everday but i mite style it like once a week. The only person that I really care about how I look is my husband. He atually prefers if don't wear makeup

I am lucky if I get to shower. Luckily my husband never liked makeup. If I get to shave my legs it's a GREAT day! LOL

lol!! well i never stay home ALL DAY that's just crazy, so some days i do put on makeup, when i have the time (meaning when the kids aren't being too crazy) and if i don't feel like it, i don't!!
IF i stayed at home all day it would be because i was sick or something and then no of course i wouldn't!

I am addicted to mascara, I have to have it on when I leave the house. I also like to sometimes get fancied up for my boyfriend, makes me feel good and usually makes him feel like I care about our "relationship" lol

I dont think a person is lazy for staying pjs, and being a mess for the day -- we are human beings, not super moms! Its no ones business - and it has nothing to do with what we do or dont teach our children -- they should feel comfortable with who they are, not how clean, pretty, or done up they are -- not saying that people should stop taking showers, or brushing teeth here -- i just dont think its a horrible thing if there are days that you dont - for pete sake!! (This goes out to Sandra)

Oh, I do! Full hair & makeup every signle day... I feel like such a load if I don't. Thankfully, my son takes a morning nap, so it's the perfect chance to take some time for myself. Besides, we never know where the day might take us... and I generally feel better when I've put out a little effort!

It depends, I have my days where I feel like doing it, than there are days where I'll stay in sweats and a t-shirt, no make-up and hair up in a ponytail, or there are days where I won't wear any makeup at all and just straighten my hair and i still feel beautiful. I only usually go all out on my hair and makeup on fridays, saturdays, and Sundays cause thats when I usually go out anywhere.

I was never big on make up to begin with even when I was a teenager I wore minimal make up.
The only time I really wear make up now is if I am going out somewhere and decide to wear my contacts... LoL Otherwise I am perfectly fine with going out without make up on.

I don't. I just don't have the motivation because i'm just home taking care of the little dude and i'm just gonna get spit up on and drooled on lol. Sometimes when I have a few minutes I do try to do something with my hair and put on some mascara and foundation because I really do like to do that for my boyfriend. But he's a sweetie he tells me i'm cute in my messy bun and sweats lol.

It really depends on how demanding my daughter and animals are in the morning. If I dont get a chance when I start getting ready for the day I dont bother. Its just easier to go without most of the time.

I shower and brush my teeth, but as far as getting all fixed up with make up and all I don't. I never really wore make-up to begin with so unless I am going out somewhere with my husband it's casual all day everyday.

when i just had 1 baby i still got fixed up all the time. once i had a toddler and a baby....not so much. I still try to do a little something with myself for going out to even run errands but at home a ponytail and a matching sweatsuit is about as good as it gets.

most of the time. just because your a mother, doesnt mean you shouldnt have things that make you feel better about yourself? there are times where i dont put makeup on at all, & just wear my hair up in a bun. but i never look messy. i workout to stay fit & healthy. that also makes me feel better about myself, but i do it within the home, i dont spend money on a gym. some people have different oppinions on things like this, but im still very young, who knows. it could change in a few years. but i certainly dont see that happening right now. i still love to hear that im beautiful. and my little man makes me feel beautiful with or without makeup. cuz i know he will always see me that way.

I am dicusted by some of the comments made by some of you moms. Seriously don't even get dressed? Don't brush you teeth? Don't shower? I am a stay-at-home mom too but common get real!! You are the #1 influence to you children. If you can't take care of your own personal hygene that what are you doing with your child? No wonder so many people feel that stay-at-home mom's are just lazy.
To answer your queastion Kayla yes once in a while I put on make up and do my hair....however not a must do to go to the store or the park. I feel like the women that have to put on their face before doing anything are fake.

I never have been one for much makeup and my hairstyle is brushed and pulled off my neck.I live in Florida so an up-swept hair style is almost a necessity.I pull my hair into a french twist and pin it there with a hair clip I only wear makeup when I go out with my hubby or church (mostly lipstick and Maybe some shadow and blush if your lucky).

Ha! I used to LOVE getting all dolled up. Now I always look like a total bum. I rarely wear make up and have my hair in a bum most of the time. My wardrobe is also lacking since I'm still carrying most of my baby weight. I feel quite unattractive these days but I hope that once I get my weight off it will help a great deal.

Makeup?...i stay at home most days...i just pull my hair up to where its off the back of my neck so i dont get hot and its pj pants and a tank top and flip flops for me...why wear makeup when you are at home...I am not out to impress anyone...if they dont like what i am wearing or the way i look...i tell them to close their eyes and not look at me!!! but my boyfriend and my kids tell me i look butiful (beautiful) every day...

I just started twisting my hair. I got tired of looking blah but I just twist my hair and put it up or wrap it lol so it kind of defeats the purpose I guess. however when it is cool enough to go out (we had a recent heat wave that hasn't ended yet) i feel like its necessary

oh gosh!! I can count on one hand how many times I have worn makeup since I had my lil girl 4 months ago! lol And doing my hair lol does piling it on top of my head with a big clip count?? lol but seriously, I only fix my hair when I go out of the house with the baby which is pretty muh every second day..make up?? only really put it on cause I was feelin yucky and it made me feel a lil better about myself, I have kinda been self conscious about my post baby belly...not used to it being all squishy in the beginning but now, I could care less! lol I lost all my baby weight but still got the squishy belly...oh well!

It depends on my mood and if my husband is in town! Once my daughter is older I think it'll be important to always look put together so she has that sense of pride in looking as good on the outside as she feels on the inside but for now...it's on a day to day basis! But I will say that when I leave the house I always try to look put together...I want my kids to take pride in their appearance, so I must!!

There have been many times when someone calls and asks me to meet them somewhere or someone shows up at my door. I try to be dressed, teeth brushed, and at least presentable when my son wakes up just so I'm ready for the day. Sometimes I whip out the makeup, but I usually just put on some lipstick and call it a day.
