my daughter at that age always loved to sing and dance so we would put songs on and dance away and have a good time. Also she loved to go for walks to the playground every day as it would get her out of the house and outside for awhile.

when my daughter was 2 yrs old we would do finger painting, make shapes out of play dough and baking cakes. Try having a girlie night with your daughter, do a lil teaparty fot\r you and your daughter, put some of her fav cartoons on. Do eachothers hair, put make up on eachother and do eachothers nails. You and your daughter will really enjoy it. Good luck

how about finger painting fun for u and her and its hands on and clay or play dough time as well. make things together and become creative. there is plenty for a 2 yr old to do go on line and they will show u lots of activities i just named a few.

Sidewalk chark and bubbles are just about amazing. We use the garage floor when it gets cold, or when it rains. Also, we play with Play-Doh, write letters with the Crayola Explosion packets (you get like 3 kinds of papers and the markers won't write on anything else). I'll also let him sit on the counter, put his feet in the sink, and pour water into different cups (using the sink of course) and he loves that, too. I hope these ideas helped some:)

Make a bird snack. If your child has allergies you will have to modify this one a little. Get a pine cone Or something similar and smear it with peanut butter. Roll it in bird seed and hang it on a tree in your yard or close to your home. It can be a lot of fun for kids to check on their home made bird feeder to see if any birds have tried it :)

Make a Library bag. Buy a plain sturdy canvas bag, and transform it into your child's personal boo bag. Use non-toxic liquid paint and help her decorate it for herself. Stamps made from apples cut in half and dipped in paint are great. Also use fabric markers to add her name. This is something fun that I did with my son at that age. It's great because they get to create something for themselves and then they are very proud every time they go to the library too!

my favorite things to do with my 16 month old -
I make mint tea & let it cool then we have a tea party on a nice towel on the kitchen floor & she gets practice drinking out of real cups. She loves this.
I also make her "paint" from (flour, water & food coloring) & let her paint on paper sacks with my kitchen basting brushes in her diaper. It's not that hard to clean up (take her to a pre-filled bath) & if she eats it it doesnt matter.

blow bubbles, make a fort out of cushions and sheets, fingerpaint, dance to music, put on a puppet show, make sock puppets, string beads on a shoelace, have a picnic indoors or outdoors, play dress up, hide and seek you can hide a stuffed animal, hope some of these help

Sometimes when all else fails i put on some random music and my daughter and i dance around. It keeps us laughing and i get in my cardio.

Read to her, put together puzzles, draw, color, do art projects. You can teach her letters, numbers, colors, shapes. Sing songs. Play outdoors, go to a park or for a walk.
