Not at this stage yet but while i was in our local supermarket i saw a sippy cup top that fits the avent bottles. Maybe this is an option

i use playtex. they are the best we have bought and we have a wild 2 y/o boy who throws them down. plus a bonus is all the tops fit all other playtex cups which is a bonus. and they are sensibly priced especially for the quality. about $5 for 2 cups. hope this helps.

I love the gerber...they are the big ones a little skinnier in the middle. they seem to last long.

We use a new type of cup (sorry can't remember the brand and it's not printed on the cup) that doesn't have a single spout but more of a valved rim all around the edge,so to the child it's more like drinking from a 'big' cup but with the safety of a lid.I bought them in Tesco and they come in 2 sizes and a variety of colours.I've got a whole stack of cups that leak and these are the only one's I buy now.Hope that helps.xx

You can also buy replacement valves for the Playtex online. I like the Playtex cups too.

The Gerber color changing cups are GREAT have not a problem with these at all... the Playtex ones are good too but after awhile or a good throw the insert has come out and after awhile you have to replace the insert..Babies R Us sells the replacements.

My 22 month old daughter is crazy with a sippy. She still has a thing about throwing it down instead of sittin git down sometimes and the only brand cup I will buy is Playtex. They only have a drop or two that comes out when she throws it.

Thank you ladies! I have a seven month old and I don't want to waste money on a bad product so I like doing my research. I had this cute little personalized sippy cup that was given to him by my best friend and it leaks at the rim. I was so disappointed. :( When I read about the line customers said they all leak.

I always liked Playtex sippies best and never had problems with leaks. You can also buy new valve inserts separately if you need replacements. Gerber didn't leak either.

They all leak to some extent, especially when the kids start banging them upside down! A good sippy cup to use is the Playtex one with a straw and a valve, that one works pretty good. It has a top you can slide to close to cover the straw so you can throw it in the diaper bag. My 9 month old loves it!
