i just saw a post recently on another community about some moms giving "uneducated" advice.. this conclusion is based on people giving advice w/o "scientific" tests and results drawn... more often than not scientific studies are CONTINUALLY done on same subjects all the time...which means that some are not happy w results so its changed ..prob to fit to their own OPINIONS.. to make it RIGHT for them...now.. i know that some rely on these studies b/c of a lot of reasons... lack of support, (family, spouse, faith, meaning religion).. they believe that drs, or internet results for studies are the only reliable source...i feel that if thats the case that they are unfortunate b/c they do not have reliable opinions from family, ie their own mothers, or others. or havent been very exposed to young children growing up.. also there is a thing called mother's intuition or common sense that other moms here legititmally try to give with no other result except trying to help a mother in need of advice from another mother who may have gone through the same circumstances ... WHY has this network become sooo negative and hurtful to moms who are looking for comrardry.. we're in this together.. its hard and unfortunately become judgemental in our society today where ever we are living on how a mom does things esp those who are sahm or young mothers, we should be lifting each other up, not proclaiming publicly how we may think another mom is doing something not right in our own eyes..(if you can say something nice, don't say anything at all) . COM is here to help, not badger each others actions or opinions, if you dont agree, be tactful about it.. and yes i will bring God into it no matter what others think.. being a mom is a "calling" if you will which includes "mothering" those other mothers who want honest help to try to raise their children to be RESPECTFUL and KIND like their own mothers proclaim to be

Thank you so much for this post!!!!! I have read a few posts that have made me cringe with the nasty, mean and judgemental replies. It has made me unwilling to post my own problems. I'm looking for advice and support, not criticism and judgement. I appreciate all the women who take the time out of their busy days to try and help me with my problems or support me when i'm down. Thank you again for the wonderful and accurate post.
